Michael serves as the President of King’s Daughters and Sons Management Company, Inc., which provides property management and oversight of Kingsway Senior Housing. Michael previously served as Executive Director of King’s Daughters and Sons Housing, Inc., a position he assumed in 1987. In addition, he is President of the Norwalk Town Union of the King’s Daughters and Sons, Inc., a charitable organization founded in 1896. Michael is involved in numerous advocacy groups that support political efforts affecting and improving the lives of seniors. Michael holds a Bachelors degree in Experimental Psychology from Ricker College in Houlton, Maine and a Masters of Education in Community Development from Springfield College in Springfield Massachusetts. He is a Certified Manager of Housing, Certified Occupancy Specialist, Certified Manager of Maintenance, and a Certified Budget Specialist through the National Center for Housing Management in Washington DC. Michael is married with three grown children.


Jamie Kennedy, CEO
King's Daughters and Sons Housing, Inc.

Jamie serves as the Chief Executive Officer of King’s Daughters and Sons Housing, Inc. In this position, Jamie oversees Kingsway’s daily operations, which include leasing and compliance activities, tenant relations, facility maintenance, and social services. He is also responsible for the Kingsway Group’s new development and acquisition strategy. Prior to joining Kingsway in 2015, Jamie was a Senior Consultant with the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Economic Development division in Mississippi. Jamie holds a Bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University in Global Studies and a Master’s degree from Mississippi State University in Public Policy and Administration. He is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional, Certified Occupancy Specialist, and a Specialist in Housing Tax Credit Management.

Craig joined the Kingsway staff in 2010. Prior to Kingsway, Craig was a Community Case Worker and Employee Assistance Coordinator with the City of Norwalk for 21 years.  A fourth generation Fairfield native, Craig graduated from the College of Mount St. Vincent in the Bronx, New York, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in both Psychology & Sociology. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Fairfield University.  Craig is an Advisory Board member with Family & Childrens Agency and Bayada Nurses. He is a member of the Connecticut Association of Counseling & Development and has a private counseling practice in Fairfield.  


Ryan is directly responsible for all facility related matters and staff coordination relating to the upkeep and improvement of Kingsway. He supervises a team of three maintenance professionals. Ryan and his team are credited with a 95 out of 100 score on the HUD Real Estate Assessment Center physical inspection in 2010; a score awarded to very few facilities. He is a 2007 graduate of Vermont Technical College with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture. Ryan also holds the Certified Manager of Maintenance from the National Center for Housing Management. 


Assistant Facilities Manager and Director of Security. MAK joined the Kingsway team in 2007 and serves as both the Assistant Facilities Manager and Director of Security. In these capacities, MAK provides facility management support and supervises Kingsway’s team of four security personnel. A graduate of Brattleboro Union High School in Brattleboro, Vermont, MAK is also responsible for the rehabilitation of all vacated units and works with his team to convert existing units to completely accessible units using UFASS guidance. MAK lives with his wife and two children in Shelton.


A Norwalk native, Roberto has worked for Kingsway since 2002 and is directly responsible of overall building and grounds cleanliness. He is instrumental in interpreting Hispanic resident needs relating to needs within their apartments. Roberto resides in Norwalk with his wife and two children.


Angie Athanasoulias is Kingsway’s business office manager, where she manages daily accounting and control functions. She is also responsible for rent collection, management of resident meal programming, and special programming. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.  Angie has received the Certified Occupancy Specialist with the National Center for Housing and Management (NCHM).  A Stamford native, Angie previously worked as a Site Coordinator for a before and after school program with the Stamford Public School system and also as an office manager for a Pediatrics practice in the Norwalk area.  


Aaron joined Kingsway in 2015 and is a member of the facilities maintenance team. A 2005 graduate of Bassick High School in Bridgeport, CT, Aaron was previously employed as a skilled tradesman with RD Scinto, Inc. Aaron’s primary focus at Kingsway is unit turnover efficiency and finish work.


Mariel serves as Kingsway's Director of Leasing and Operations. A fluent Spanish speaker, Mariel also serves as Kingsway's key liaison between management, staff, and Kingsway's growing Hispanic population.  She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.  Mariel is a Certified Occupancy Specialist and Certified Manager of Housing with the National Center for Housing and Management (NCHM). She has also achieved the Advanced Occupancy Specialist certification.  Before joining Kingsway, Mariel worked as a site coordinator at an After School Program in the Stamford Public School system.  In this capacity, she worked with children ages 5 through 10, overseeing and delivering various child enrichment programs.  


A member of Kingsway’s social services team, Christin serves as the Resident Services Coordinator. Primarily focusing on Kingsway’s Assisted Living Unit and new social services program development, Christin’s efforts bridge resident needs with community-based services, activities, and social service programs. She is credited with implementing Kingsway’s Transportation Services program, and also oversees Kingsway’s on-site health care delivery programs. Prior to joining Kingsway, Christin was an elementary school teacher for over 10 years. She is a 2006 graduate of Mississippi State University and holds a Master’s Degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mississippi.
